What you’ll get from this session
Make a big impression on first glance. Discover how to put together the ideal portfolio to present your qualities at their best. What should you show, and what should you keep back? And what about the graphic design, and the changes you need to make for different positions or projects? At this session you’ll lay the foundations for a portfolio or CV – one that you will be able to use to convince clients of your qualities.
This evening’s expert works at Van Lennep design studio in Amsterdam. They make powerful visual designs that always follow a set of basic precepts – 1: tell the truth; 2: your gut feeling is probably right; 3: let the work to the talking; 4: there’s always more than one solution; 5: collaboration is essential; and 6: new blood means fresh views. They’re looking forward to sharing their experience with you.

The teacher will tell you everything you need to know when starting up, opening the doors to a new world. We provide the pen and paper, so you can note down all the tips and tricks.
Get to work
Roll up your sleeves, because we’re going put what you’ve learned into practice right away. Sometimes the teacher will ask you to work with a specific case study, but usually you’ll be applying it to your own situation.

- Free for current students and recent graduates (from 2019 onwards).
- € 12.50 for AHK alumni who graduated before 2019.
- € 15.00 for non-AHK participants.
