Danielle Kuijten completed her Master of Museology (M. Museology) at the Reinwardt Academy in Amsterdam in 2014. A year earlier she started her own company, Heritage Concepting. Her focus in projects is on participatory collecting methods, action curating, reflective practice and concepts of intangible heritage. Currently she works on projects for Imagine IC, a pioneer in the field of heritage of the contemporary society. Here she works on a participative neighbourhood archive on and in Amsterdam’s South East. Furthermore she is an affiliated board member at COMCOL, ICOM’s international committee for collecting.
