This article explores how meat consumption, deeply embedded in culture, can be reduced through “ritual intervention” strategies. Using a co-creative approach with young adults modifying their Christmas meals, it identifies ways to renegotiate meat’s role without undermining core values. The study highlights bottom-up, practice-sensitive methods for changing consumption rituals.
