Since 2014, Queering the Collections has been the name of an initiative and a platform by means of which a group of museums and archives intend to increase the visibility of gender and sexual diversity in public collections. It is also the title of the report on the first international congress on this topic, held in 2015, including a mini lexicon of ‘rainbow words’ and practical tips and tricks.
