In collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Agency (Minister of Education, Culture and Science) the Reinwardt Academy invite you to join us at the Final Presentations of the 2021 edition of the Sharing Stories on Contested Histories training programme. During this event you’ll be witnessing the result of a two week training focused on sharing experiences and exploring approaches and tools to present complex histories from multiple perspectives.

What to expect

Heritage professionals from over 11 nationalities will share their learnings and reflections in four young teams. Their presentations will mainly focus on the current exhibition of the Rijksmuseum ‘Slavery. Ten true stories’. This topic is the leading case study for the 2021 training.

Room for your views

During the session there will be time to join in on the conversation about ethical and museological challenges of sharing contested histories in an inclusive manner.
