Join us for the next session on October 10, organized by Marit van Dijk (Researcher, Cultural Heritage Department), part of the Thinking with Birds project. This research initiative explores how we share the city with birds and other species. This time, guided once again by the Vogelwerkgroep Amsterdam, we will observe how herons coexist with market vendors, visitors, and other species at the Dappermarkt.
At the market, herons are as much a fixture as the vendors, visitors, and the fish being sold. In this afternoon session, we will observe the market and explore how different species interact in the urban environment.
Observation will take place from 11:00 to 14:30, and participants are expected to join for at least forty minutes. You may choose your preferred time slot. To participate, please email marit.vandijk@ahk.nl.
Meeting Point: Fish stall De Graaf & Roos & Zonen
Registration: Email marit.vandijk@ahk.nl to confirm your attendance.
