The AHK Starterscafé is a pop-up café in AHK Culture Club, full of extra-curricular workshops. Grab a drink at the bar and get to know current and former students who – just like you- want to live from their creativity. At 7pm an inspiring teacher will start sharing all the tricks of the trade. Monday in English, Tuesday in Dutch. The agenda items below tell you what is going on the upcoming months. Register now!

Are you happy with the search results when you google yourself or your project? Do they paint the picture you want? If not, you’d better come along to this evening session! Position yourself online clearly and personally and you’re sure to get noticed by your target group and future clients. You’ll learn how to articulate what you want to communicate, and how to go about that.
About Melanie Esther
The teacher this evening is Melanie Esther, an artist branding and social media coach. She coaches artists who want to find and tell their own unique story and develop a strong brand and social media strategy. Taking the story as her basis, she works with the artist on release plans, online ticket promotion, increasing follower numbers, and more. She uses her own Find and Tell method to create coaching programmes for individual artists, workshops and presentations. Melanie Esther’s clients include Blanks and Typhoon, and she previously shared her knowledge at ESNS, Popronde, ADE BEATS and No Man's Land.

The teacher will tell you everything you need to know when starting up, opening the doors to a new world. We provide the pen and paper, so you can note down all the tips and tricks.
Get to work
Roll up your sleeves, because we’re going put what you’ve learned into practice right away. Sometimes the teacher will ask you to work with a specific case study, but usually you’ll be applying it to your own situation.

- Free for current students and recent graduates (from 2019 onwards).
- € 12.50 for AHK alumni who graduated before 2019.
